Peak = the larger of the reaction session's high or low versus the pre-report close (the app's default earnings-move view). A peak far above the close — DOCS's +93.6% peak against a +32.6% close — is a move that faded within the session.

The EarningsWatcher Lens
Big moves are not the same as surprises. The largest moves on this page were, for the most part, priced as large: DOCS's +93.6% peak came against a ±21.8% implied move, MXL's +85.5% against ±26.1%. The genuine shocks are on the third table — names like URI (±5.7% priced, +22.9% delivered) and ACI (±5.6% priced, -21.6% delivered), where a modest implied move hid a multi-sigma print.
The fade is the rule at the top. On the peak table the close is usually well inside the peak — the session's extreme is rarely where the stock finishes. That is the difference between a straddle marked at its best moment and a straddle held to the bell.
Context. Across all 3,876 reports in 2026 the average priced move was ±9.65% and the average close move ±6.71%; 25.7% of reports closed beyond the implied. Every name here is a tail event by construction. The full-market study is on the implied-vs-actual page.
What this does not say. A list of the largest moves says nothing about the next one; the names here are the ones that already happened. It is a record, not a screen.
